Gibrid apps: iPhone, Android and Mac

One account, a shared chat history and a shared balance work on the site and in all the apps. Start on your phone, continue on a Mac or in the browser.

Updated:

In short
  • Download links are collected on gibrid.ai in the “Download” section (gibrid.ai/#download).
  • iPhone is a public beta via TestFlight; Android is an APK file; Mac is a DMG installer image.
  • Sign in with the same account as on the site: balance, chats and plan are shared.
  • Mac updates itself; on iPhone, updates come through TestFlight; on Android you download a new APK.
  • A voice clone can be created both on the site and in the mobile apps (Pro plan and above, 18+ confirmation).

1Where to download

On the home page of gibrid.ai, click Download in the top menu or scroll to the “Apps” block. There are three buttons. The same addresses also work directly:

  • iPhone, beta (PUBLIC BETA label): gibrid.ai/download/ios. The link opens the public test in TestFlight;
  • Android (APK): gibrid.ai/download/android. It downloads an installer file; the current version is 0.8.3;
  • Mac (DMG): gibrid.ai/download/mac. Works with macOS 14 and later, on Apple Silicon and Intel processors; the current version is 0.8.1 (build 207).
NoteThe apps are not in the App Store or Google Play yet: the iPhone version is distributed as a public beta, and Android as a file. Download the apps only from gibrid.ai links.

2Installing on iPhone

  1. Open the link

    On your iPhone, go to gibrid.ai/download/ios. The TestFlight beta page will open.

  2. Install TestFlight

    If you don't have the TestFlight app, Apple will offer to download it for free from the App Store.

  3. Tap “Accept”, then “Install”

    The Gibrid app will appear on your Home Screen. TestFlight itself will offer to update when new builds come out.

  4. Sign in

    Use the method you use on the site: email and password, Google or Apple.

3Installing on Android

  1. Download the file

    On your phone, open gibrid.ai/download/android; the download starts automatically.

  2. Allow the installation

    Android may ask for permission to install apps from the browser. Turn it on only for this installation.

  3. Open the file and tap “Install”

    After installation, open Gibrid and sign in to your account.

  4. Update manually

    When a new version comes out, download the file from the same link; it will replace the old one.

4Installing on Mac

  1. Download the image

    Click Download for macOS on the home page or open gibrid.ai/download/mac.

  2. Drag the app

    Open the downloaded DMG file and drag Gibrid to “Applications”.

  3. Launch and sign in

    Sign in the same way as on the site. If a sign-in method isn't on the screen, use another one, for example email.

  4. Updates

    The app updates itself: it downloads the new version in the background and offers a restart.

5One account on all devices

Signing in to the app uses the same account as on the site. Everything else follows from that: your ⚡ balance and plan are shared, chats and agents sync, and Studio works appear in the “My generations” section on any device. You don't need to buy tokens twice.

TipIf you're not sure which account is open, check the email or name in the profile menu; it is shown both on the site and in the app.
TipThe list of devices you are signed in on, and signing out of foreign ones, is in Settings on the Sessions tab (more: about settings).

6How the apps differ from the site

  • Voice clone: it is created both on the site (Studio → Audio → Voiceover → “Клон голоса”) and in the mobile apps; it needs the Pro plan or above and the confirmation “I am 18 or older. This is my voice, or I have its owner's consent”. The finished clone then appears in voice lists everywhere, for example in a storyboard. How to create one on the site: about voiceover;
  • Installation and updates: on the site there is nothing to install; in the apps, updates come through TestFlight, the APK file or the built-in Mac updater;
  • Payment: in the iPhone app the top-up or plan button opens the site's payment page in a browser through a single-use link (the plan or pack is already chosen; dollars and a card through Stripe are available); after paying you return to the app (about billing);
  • Set of screens: new sections appear on the platforms at different times, so some new features may not be available everywhere right away.

The essentials (chat with models, Studio for photo, video and music, AI apps, agents and personal souls) are available both on the site and in the apps.

?FAQ

Are the apps paid?

You can download the apps for free. Only the ⚡ tokens on your balance are spent, the same as on the site.

Do I need to buy a plan again in the app?

No. Your plan and balance are tied to your account and shared between the site and the apps.

Why is Android downloaded as a file rather than from Google Play?

Today the Android version is distributed as an APK from the Gibrid site. The link is gibrid.ai/download/android. Install files only from gibrid.ai.

What if the TestFlight beta won't open?

Check that the TestFlight app is installed on your iPhone and that you are opening the link from the device, not from a computer. If that doesn't help, write to support.
