Edit the clip with words: “make it night” instead of a new shoot

1How to start

1. Open a finished clip

   In “My generations” click the clip tile to open the viewer.

2. Choose the action

   In the actions menu click Edit the clip with words. The item exists only for videos, not for images.

3. Wait for the preparation

   Studio measures the clip length itself. If all is well it closes the viewer, opens the video composer and shows “Clip added — describe what to change, the price is on the button”.

4. Check the composer

   The clip stands as the source (labelled “Original”), the Kling 3.0 Omni model is chosen, sound is off, and the duration is set from the clip length (but not above 15 seconds). Earlier images, the end frame and video references are removed from the composer.

2The strip with the price and ready-made edits

A strip Edit the clip with words appears above the description field. On its right it says, for example, “7 s · 49 tokens” — the source length and the price the server calculated for exactly this clip. The Remove the clip button cancels the edit mode.

The six buttons fill the field with a ready-made phrase (it is written in English because the model understands it more reliably):

• Night — the scene becomes night; action, framing and camera movement stay the same;
• Rain — heavy rain, wet surfaces, drops and reflections;
• Sunset — warm golden-hour light and long shadows;
• Different outfit — the text has a place in square brackets: replace it with a description of the outfit;
• Remove an object — in the square brackets write what to remove;
• Anime style — the whole clip is redrawn as hand-drawn anime.

A click starts nothing: the phrase appears in the field and you can add to it or replace it with your own. Under the strip is a reminder: “Describe what to change — motion, framing and length stay as in the clip. Replace the words in square brackets with your own.”

3Running it and the price

1. Describe the edit

   Click a ready-made option or write your own text in the description field.

2. Look at the price

   The price is on the strip and on the Generate button, with the time next to it, for example “~2 min” (in our 30-day statistics the median for Kling 3.0 Omni is about 2 minutes).

3. Press “Generate”

   The edit runs like an ordinary video generation: the finished clip appears in “My generations” as a new entry; the original is not changed.

Whole seconds of the source are counted: for Kling at most 15–16, for HappyHorse at most 60. Sound is not generated again in this mode, so it is not part of the price.

4Clips of 15–60 seconds: HappyHorse

If a clip is longer than 15 seconds, Kling does not take it. Studio offers HappyHorse and first opens the Editing a long clip window. It says: “The clip is N s — longer than 15 seconds. Only HappyHorse edits such clips, and it costs noticeably more than a regular edit. Below is the price for the whole clip.”

1. Read the price

   The window shows the price for the whole clip, its length and your balance. If there is not enough money the button is disabled and it says “Insufficient balance”.

2. Press “Continue to edit”

   Only then is the clip put into the composer, with quality set to 720p. Above the description field there is the note “HappyHorse, pricier than usual”.

3. Describe the edit and run it

   The price on the “Generate” button comes from the server, as in the regular mode.

5What is important to know

• This is a new generation, not a filter: you need to look at the result, and each attempt is paid for separately.
• The model keeps motion, framing and length, but may change details (face, clothes, objects); “Remove an object” and “Different outfit” do not guarantee an exact result.
• You can edit only your own finished clips from the feed. The original clip is not changed — a new entry appears.
• One editing model is used for “Night”, “Rain”, “Sunset” and “anime” (Kling 3.0 Omni, Transformation mode); you cannot pick another one in this mode.
