Storyboard and persona creation right from chat

No need to open Studio: write “make a storyboard…” and get frames with timing and voiceover text. Attach photos and write “create a persona…” and a card appears in the chat with one question and a “Create” button.

Updated:

In short
  • A storyboard is text: frames with timing, a role, a description and voiceover. It is almost free; only the images and videos made from it cost money.
  • Card buttons: “Draw frames”, “Animate”, “Save to “My storyboards””, “Open in Studio”.
  • A persona is created from your photos in one message; you confirm the rights to the face yourself with the “I confirm” button.
  • The appearance card costs about ⚡1; the result appears in Studio, in the “Library”.

1Storyboard: how to ask

Write the task in plain words: “Make a storyboard: a courier is late and reaches the door at the last second” or “Break the idea of a reel about a coffee shop opening into frames”. The words “storyboard”, “frame by frame” and “video script” are understood by the assistant as a request for a storyboard. In reply, a timeline card appears in the chat.

  • Frames: from 2 to 10; if you didn't name a number, the assistant takes about 7.
  • Duration: about 21 seconds by default (from 6 to 90 seconds; if you name only the number of frames, about 3 seconds per frame is used); format 9:16 (the default), 16:9 or 1:1.
  • In each frame: time (for example, 3–8 s), a role (“Hook”, “Call to action”), a description, voiceover text or a caption.
  • A shared “Look”: clothing, place, lighting; it keeps the frames in a single style.
⚡The script itself is text and costs a few cents. Paid actions (images and videos from the frames) start with separate buttons and always with a price plan. 1 ⚡ ≈ $0.025.

2What the storyboard card can do

  1. Adjust frames in words

Click Edit frame (“Change frame …” is filled into the field) or write: “Change frame 2: let it rain”. You can add or delete a frame: “add a frame after the third”, “delete the last one”. The other frames don't change.

  2. Draw the frames

Draw frames launches an image batch: the assistant shows a plan with the price and a Create N button. If the storyboard has a hero with a persona, the images use their references.

  3. Animate the images

Animate launches a video batch from the finished frames. Confirmation is always required; no more than 4 videos at a time.

  4. Save it

A storyboard gets into “My storyboards” only through your button: Save to “My storyboards”, Open in Studio and similar. After saving, you see the “Saved ✓” mark and an Open button.

  5. Get a copy

The More menu has Copy, Download and As document; the last one asks the assistant to format the storyboard as a Word document.

Further work (voiceover, assembly and export) happens in Studio on the “My storyboards” screen. How it works is described on the Storyboards page.

3Persona from chat: step by step

A persona is a digital face (a person, place, animal or object) that keeps the same look in images and video. More about it is on the Persona page. In chat, you can create it faster than in Studio.

  1. Attach photos

Attach your photos to the message via “+” → Attach files: JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 20 files, up to 20 MB each. For a person you need at least 3 usable photos, and ideally about 8: different angles, good lighting, face in focus. Only the photos of this message are taken into account.

  2. Write your request

For example: “Create a persona Alex”. The assistant creates nothing on its own: it checks the photos (sharpness, face size, angles; this is free) and briefly tells you how it went.

  3. Fill in the “New persona” card

It holds: photos (“N photos”, “Usable photos: U of T”), “Name” (“What is she called”), “Type” (Person, Location, Animal, Object), “Skin” (“Natural”, “Maximum detail”, “Clear skin”) and the line “Appearance card ≈ ⚡1”. Default values are filled in.

  4. Confirm the rights

For the “Person” type, the card has a consent text: you must be 18, and the photos must show you or you must have that person's consent to create a digital copy and use it in videos. You give the consent with the I confirm button. The assistant can't tick it for you.

  5. Click “Create”

While creation is running, the button says “Creating…”. When it's done, “Persona “Alex” created” appears with the buttons Make a test frame, Open in Studio and Skin settings.

NoteIf you didn't attach photos, the card asks you to add them. If you need not a face but an AI companion with a character, create not a persona but a soul (the page about souls).
TipCheck the skin: after creation, open the persona in Studio and make sure the “Skin in frames” value suits you; if needed, change it in the “Shooting settings”.

4Where the result goes

  • A persona is saved in Studio: Studio → Library. From there its name is picked up by image and video batches in chat (“with Alex”).
  • A storyboard is kept in Studio → My storyboards (if you clicked save) and opens with the Open in Studio button.
  • Images and videos from the frames appear in chat cards and also in My generations.

Storyboards and persona creation are available in the main chat, in the “Models” section and in a chat with a soul. These cards are not in agent groups.

?FAQ

Can the assistant create a persona without my consent?

No. For a person, the consent is the “I confirm” button in the card, which you press. The assistant has no tool that records consent.

What happens if I click “Create” twice?

Repeating the same set of photos with the same name doesn't create a duplicate.

How much does a storyboard cost?

The script is a text request and costs a few cents. Images and videos from the frames are paid and start only after your confirmation with the price shown.

Is a storyboard saved automatically?

No: it gets into “My storyboards” only through your button. Until then it remains a card in the chat.
